Women to Women event wraps today

For the past few years TMU has had the tradition every October to live out the part in Scripture where the older women in the church are to mentor the younger women. Women to Women brings female students together for an evening or afternoon activity, fellowship and mentoring.

Whether that is one of the resident directors (RDs), or dean of women, Kim Wilson, herself or women from various churches in Santa Clarita, there is always someone who is mentoring and leading a group of ladies for this event.

This year’s Women to Women event started on Tuesday Oct. 1 with activities throughout the week. The event concludes on Oct. 12.

The women on campus had many activities to do such as playing games, eating lots of dessert, drinking coffee, hiking on trials and overall enjoying fellowship with one another.

Senior Lucy Rodriguez is excited for this event because she gets to spend time and have fellowship with other women.

“Women to women is such a sweet time for me because I just love getting together with a whole bunch of other ladies to do a fun activity like coloring and just having the chance to hang out with girls that I do not always get to see,” Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez also expressed how excited she was for the activities she will be participating in this coming week.

“I also just love the little activities you can choose from. I’m excited for the charcuterie and watercolors this coming week,” Rodriguez said.
